Boardmasters 2024 Unveils First Acts in Lineup

Boardmasters Festival has unveiled its initial lineup for 2024, featuring two prominent headliners.

Stormzy and Chase & Status are set to lead the festival on separate nights in August, accompanied by a diverse array of musicians.

This annual event, held atop the cliffs near Watergate Bay in Cornwall, draws thousands of attendees each year, drawn not only by the music but also by the nearby excellent surfing opportunities.

As the fifth largest festival in the UK, it is scheduled to take place from August 7 to 11 next summer. Due to its increasing popularity, organizers have applied to expand its capacity from 53,000 to 65,000 within the next two years.

Over 30 acts were announced on Wednesday, November 29, with more expected to be revealed, according to Boardmasters.

The festival experienced a sell-out in 2023, with headliners such as Lorde, Liam Gallagher, and Florence + The Machine. This year, a record number of fans have already signed up for presale tickets.

Among the announced acts are:

  • Stormzy: A highly acclaimed musician from South London, Stormzy has released three chart-topping albums, including “Gang Signs & Prayer” and “Heavy Is The Head,” both of which were Mercury Music Prize nominees.

  • Becky Hill: The BRIT Award-winning artist will surely captivate the audience with her hit songs such as “Crazy What Love Can Do” and “Remember,” along with her latest track “Disconnect” with Chase & Status.
