Afro Nation Portugal will return in 2025 as it celebrates an incredible 5-year anniversary, with the festival kicking off that celebration in emphatic style as it announces a major cast of world-first headliners. First up in this milestone year are newly announced Grammy-award-winning global superstars Burna Boy and Tems.

Burna Boy, affectionately referred to as City Boy, has been with Afro Nation since day one, and recent releases like “On the Low”, “Last, Last”, “Ye”, “Soke,” and “Killin Dem” have placed him as one of the biggest names Afrobeats can boast of, while his energy has always been a sight to see on stage. That’s high-voltage energy he’ll carry along onto the stage as he storms the Lit Stage, bringing high-energy anthems to the Afro Nation crowd.

In 2025, Tems will make her Afro Nation debut, becoming the first-ever female Afrobeats headliner at the festival.
