Glastonbury Festival 2025: Key Ticket Information

Glastonbury Festival is returning in 2025 from 25th to 29th June, and the much-anticipated ticket sales will begin this November. If you’re eager to attend one of the world’s most iconic music festivals, here’s everything you need to know about securing your spot.

Ticket Sale Dates

  • Tickets with Coach Travel: Available from 6pm GMT, Thursday, 14th November.
  • General Admission Tickets: Available from 9am GMT, Sunday, 17th November.

Tickets are priced at £373.50 plus a £5 booking fee. A £75 deposit (plus the full coach fare if opting for the ticket + coach package) is payable at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due in the first week of April 2025. All tickets will be sold exclusively through the official website at glastonbury.seetickets.com.

Registration Process

To combat ticket touting, all attendees aged 13 or older must have a valid registration number before purchasing tickets. Registration is free and can be completed online by providing basic contact information and uploading a passport-style photo. This process takes just a few minutes.

  • Registration Deadline: 5pm GMT, Monday, 11th November.

It’s advised to submit registrations at least a week before the deadline to allow for any necessary corrections. Without a valid registration number, you won’t be able to book tickets.

If you’ve registered in the past, there’s no need to register again. However, it’s a good idea to check your details and update your photo if necessary. Registrations made before 2020 were reviewed in autumn 2023, so check if your registration is still valid.

Children aged 12 and under can attend free of charge and do not require a ticket or registration. However, they must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.

Booking Essentials

When booking tickets, you’ll need:

  • The registration number and postcode for each person.
  • A debit (UK only) or credit card with enough funds for the transaction.

Make sure all details are accurate, as any mismatch can result in a failed booking attempt.

Go Green: Opt for Coach Travel

Tickets combined with coach travel will be available first as part of Glastonbury’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions. The coach packages go on sale at 6pm GMT on Thursday, 14th November, and allow you to book up to six tickets per transaction.

When choosing this option, the deposit (£75) plus the full coach fare is payable upon booking, with the remaining ticket balance due in April. Keep in mind that traveling on the designated coach is mandatory to receive your festival ticket.

Be Considerate When Booking

The high demand for tickets means many people will be trying to access the booking site at once. While it’s tempting to use multiple devices to improve your chances, this can actually slow the process down for everyone. Stick to one device and one browser tab to make your booking smoother and less stressful for everyone involved.

Missed Out? Don’t Worry

If you don’t manage to secure a ticket in November, there will be another opportunity during the Spring resale, when returned tickets become available.

Beware of Scams

Tickets for Glastonbury are in high demand, so avoid being scammed by unofficial sellers. The only legitimate source for tickets is glastonbury.seetickets.com—do not purchase from third-party sites.

Accommodation Options

Details on campervan and caravan tickets, tipis, and pre-erected accommodation options will be available on the festival website later this autumn.
