WHO ARE THEY
Latino Life in the Park is an event organised by the not-for-profit LatinoLife, the UK's leading Latino media and events pioneer. Since 2003, LatinoLife has delivered high-quality events, media, and music with exceptional reach, contributing to the UK’s development as a significant player in the Latin arts sector for the past 20 years.
In addition to the festival, LatinoLife publishes LatinoLife Magazine, both in print and online. They also host an incredible array of events throughout the year, such as the UK's biggest weekly reggaeton party, Viva Reggaeton, at Vauxhall's Lightbox, as well as The LUKAS Awards (Europe's Latin Entertainment Awards), industry incubator events, and festival stages featuring fantastic line-ups.
This recognition—alongside institutions such as the Royal Opera House and the Royal Shakespeare Company—for our outstanding creative work presented by artists at LatinoLife has made us an NPO, funded by the UK government for our artistic excellence in 2023.
WHY COME TO LATINOLIFE IN THE PARK?
The LUKAS Awards (Europe's Latin Entertainment Awards), judged by both the public and industry experts, celebrate the best Latin artists of the year. Every year, the event attracts renowned performers and up-and-coming talent, with winners chosen through a combination of popular and expert voting.
Each year, LatinoLife in the Park presents some of the most exciting artists creating a uniquely British-Latin sound, blending the UK's urban styles with Latin influences such as reggaeton, grime, and Afrobeat. This vibrant mix comes to life on the Candela Stage, where explosive collaborations between British and Latino urban artists take centre stage.
In addition, our Candela Sound System—a touring showcase—brings this dynamic line-up to festivals across the country, ensuring that LatinoLife’s impact extends far beyond just one event.
