Description
Stepped right up to the incredible Stendhal Festival, Northern Ireland's largest independently run music and arts showcase, since its inception back in 2011. The attendees kicked off their summer with a whirlwind of music, dance, and general merriment thanks to a stellar lineup of performers from all different disciplines.
From music to comedy, poetry to the visual arts, Stendhal really promised something for all the senses. Team Stendhal took great care in piecing together each year's lineup, with some exciting announcements yet to be made.
But that wasn't all-thank you, Stendhal, for having such a great family program and making sure nobody was left out of the fun. Known as 'Ireland's Best Family Festival,' Stendhal continued to improve its family and kid-friendly facilities year after year and was praised year after year.
And then there was the food! There was a culinary ride in store for attendees, with plenty of scrumptious options available, including mouthwatering vegetarian and vegan options served up from food trailers and stalls scattered throughout the festival grounds.
While Stendhal promised a fantastic weekend, many stayed longer to see the surrounding area. Equally situated at the entrance to the spectacular Causeway Coastal Route, Limavady lies close to Derry, Donegal, and Portrush, offering a perfect base to stay longer.
For those not intending to camp, Limavady and the Causeway Coast had every imaginable type of accommodation surrounded by beautiful scenery, so be it taking the whole event while camping or retiring to a warm haven, Stendhal and surroundings would be one of these trips to remember.
