Wireless Festival is a pure rap and hip-hop music celebration rooted in London, England. Run by Live Nation, the festival started back in 2005 as a hybrid of rock and pop but flipped to hip-hop and eclectic genres in the early 2010s.
The event was originally sponsored until 2008 by O2 telecommunications and was known as the O2 Wireless Festival. For 2009, Barclaycard took over sponsorship, hence the Barclaycard Wireless Festival until 2012; in 2013, it became the Yahoo! Wireless Festival, sponsored by Yahoo!. From 2015 onward, the fashion retailer New Look took over, followed by the delivery company Gopuff in 2021, continuing through the 2022 and 2023 editions, and Rockstar Energy Drink has been a headline partner of the Wireless Festival since 2024.
Capacity in 2023 was 49,999 showing that the event is still in demand. Wireless has also expanded from London into Leeds in 2006 and 2007 and Birmingham from 2014. In 2017 Live Nation expanded further with Wireless Germany in Frankfurt and Wireless Middle East in Abu Dhabi.
Wireless Festival will light up Finsbury Park in London on three thrilling days from Friday, 11th July 2025, to Sunday, 13th July 2025. An electric weekend headed by global icons who have shaped the music world, while being true to its tradition of promoting emerging talent.
And yes, with unparallel production value, elevating visuals with topmost sound quality, no doubt, Wireless Festival will certainly create another memory again in the minds of their always packed audience.
