Love Supreme 2024 first names announced

Grammy-winning legend Chaka Khan will light up the Sunday night festivities, commemorating an incredible 50-year journey in music. Joining the lineup is the iconic US funk sensation Kool & The Gang, known for their chart-topping hits like “Ladies Night,” “Celebration,” and “Jungle Boogie,” along with UK powerhouse Joss Stone, Brazilian maestro Sergio Mendes, British R&B sensation Mahalia, and the electrifying US psychedelic soul group Black Pumas, recognized as ‘Best New Artist’ nominees at the 2020 Grammys.

Adding to the excitement are the trailblazing husband-and-wife vocal duo, The War & Treaty, Grammy-winning blues sensation Christone ‘Kingfish’ Ingram, and the soulful sounds of London-based Australian singer Jordan Rakei, set to release a highly anticipated album on Decca Records in 2024 ahead of a sold-out performance at The Royal Albert Hall.

Love Supreme will also showcase a stellar lineup of contemporary jazz acts, including the multi-award-winning US vocalist Cécile McLorin Salvant, visionary musician Meshell Ndegeocello, Scottish pianist Fergus McCreadie, Japanese pianist Hiromi with her Sonicwonder project, Blue Note drummer Johnathan Blake, Grammy-winning bassist Christian McBride, and the legendary Billy Cobham, set to perform shortly after celebrating his 80th birthday.
