Shindig Festival-who had earlier announced that 2024 would be its final year, then later changed their mind this past October-have confirmed a new site for the event, Charlton Park in Malmesbury, the former home of Womad, which is itself set to announce a new site after it takes a hiatus in 2025.
Simon Clarke, the festival co-founder said: “Charlton Park marks a new era for Shindig.
“This renowned site allows us to introduce new stages, a broader live music line up and fresh immersive experiences – the foundation for a solid future.”
A message from the organisers shared on Facebook: “We’re excited to announce that Shindig Festival 2025 will be taking place at the stunning Charlton Park, Wiltshire.
“This iconic location, previously home to the legendary WOMAD festival, offers a breathtaking backdrop for an unforgettable weekend of music, magic, and mayhem.”
Tickets are on sale, with the first tier already sold out.
