Shindig Festival-who had earlier announced that 2024 would be its final year, then later changed their mind this past October-have confirmed a new site for the event, Charlton Park in Malmesbury, the former home of Womad, which is itself set to announce a new site after it takes a hiatus in 2025.
Simon Clarke, the festival co-founder said: “Charlton Park marks a new era for Shindig.
“This renowned site allows us to introduce new stages, a broader live music line up and fresh immersive experiences – the foundation for a solid future.”
One post by the organisers on Facebook: “We are very excited to share with you that Shindig Festival 2025 will be happening at the gorgeous Charlton Park in Wiltshire.“
This world-famous site has been the previous home to the legendary WOMAD festival and will serve as the perfect backdrop for an amazing weekend of music, magic, and mayhem.
