South of England Weekender Promises Big Names and Family Fun

The South of England Weekender is set to bring excitement to Haywards Heath this summer, with organisers promising big-name acts for the three-day festival. Scheduled from 27 to 29 June 2025, the event will take place at the South of England Event Centre and promises a blend of entertainment, food, and family-friendly fun.

A Festival for Everyone

The South of England Weekender is more than just a music festival. Alongside live performances, attendees can enjoy a wide variety of street food vendors, thrilling fairground rides, and an exclusive VIP area. While the lineup is yet to be announced, organisers Joy Concerts are confident that the event will deliver a standout experience for all ages.

Joy Concerts described the event as:

“Nestled in the heart of Sussex’s breathtaking South Downs, the South of England Weekender promises more than just a musical experience, offering a transformative journey into the landscape that defines the soul of Southern England.”

They added:

“Imagine a landscape where rolling green hills meet expansive skies, where every breath is filled with the pure, crisp air of the Sussex countryside. This family-friendly festival ensures there is something for everyone, from delightful fairground rides for kids and adults alike to curated entertainment that music lovers will adore.”

A Scenic Escape

The South of England Event Centre spans 150 acres of stunning countryside, offering a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Conveniently located just 36 miles from London and 20 miles from Brighton, it provides easy access while feeling a world away.

The venue also supports a worthy cause. Profits from its hire directly fund the South of England Agricultural Society’s charitable work, promoting agricultural education and countryside learning.

Supporting Local Heritage

The Agricultural Society hosts various events throughout the year, including the renowned South of England Show. In 2024, Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, attended the show as its new patron. Already a patron of the Association of Show and Agricultural Organisations (ASAO), the Duchess regularly supports agricultural events across the UK.
