The Warwick Sessions 2025 Announced: The Stranglers, S Club, and Elbow to Headline

AEG Presents has unveiled the much-anticipated lineup for The Warwick Sessions 2025, featuring headlining performances from punk rock icons The Stranglers, chart-topping pop group S Club, and Manchester’s emotive rock band elbow. Taking place from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th July 2025, this three-day musical celebration will transform St Nicholas’ Park in Warwick, just a stone’s throw from the historic Warwick Castle. Tickets will go on general sale at 10am BST on Friday 18th October 2024.

Friday 4 July: The Stranglers Take Centre Stage

The Warwick Sessions will kick off on Friday 4 July with The Stranglers, supported by fellow punk pioneers The Skids. Celebrating 50 years of music, The Stranglers have become one of the most influential British bands, with a sound that evolved beyond the punk movement of the late 70s.

Their early success includes three albums—Rattus Norvegicus, No More Heroes, and Black and White—released within just 13 months, giving the world classics like Peaches, No More Heroes, and Walk On By. Over the years, the band produced hits such as Golden Brown, Always The Sun, and Strange Little Girl, earning them 23 Top 40 singles and 20 Top 40 albums, including the 2021 chart-topper Dark Matters.

Having reached their 50th anniversary in 2024, The Stranglers remain a powerful force in rock, with a commitment to both their roots and future innovations.

“We’re looking forward to coming to Warwick and rocking the walls of this historical town!” the band said.

Saturday 5 July: S Club Brings the Party

Saturday night will see the return of S Club, one of the UK’s most beloved pop groups. Known for their infectious feel-good hits like Reach, Don’t Stop Movin’, and Never Had a Dream Come True, S Club dominated the charts during the early 2000s with four UK No. 1 singles and a hit BBC TV show.

Following a 25-year milestone, the group embarked on a sold-out UK & Ireland arena tour in 2023, followed by special performances in North America. Their recent Good Times Tour celebrated not only their extensive back catalogue but also introduced new music to a fresh generation of fans.

With their enduring popularity, S Club promise a night filled with nostalgia, high-energy performances, and feel-good anthems.

Sunday 6 July: elbow Closes the Weekend

The final night of The Warwick Sessions will be headlined by elbow, one of the UK’s most revered alternative rock bands. Known for their cinematic soundscapes and emotionally resonant lyrics, the band has been creating celebrated music since their debut album Asleep in the Back in 2001.

Winners of the Mercury Prize, multiple Ivor Novello Awards, and the BRIT Award for Best British Band, elbow has achieved commercial success with four No. 1 albums, including their most recent release, AUDIO VERTIGO (2024). The band also contributed to British history by performing First Steps, the theme for the 2012 London Olympics.

“We are returning to venues we’ve really loved for summer ’25 and visiting some places we haven’t been to for a while. There’s nothing like settling in for the evening with old friends,” said lead singer Guy Garvey.

A Celebration of Music in Warwick

Chloe Pean and Rachel Lloyd from AEG Presents expressed their excitement about the festival:

“We are thrilled to bring The Warwick Sessions to life following the success of The Castle Sessions. St Nicholas’ Park is a stunning location, and with headliners like elbow, S Club, and The Stranglers—plus more acts to be announced—it’s set to be a fantastic weekend for music lovers.”
